Social Workers in Schools
“Enhancing the lives of children”

This is a FREE service that will support your child and family to learn, grow and thrive. Whether you need help with school, at home or with things like health services, Social Workers in Schools are trained professionals who work in partnership with you and your school. We want to enhance the well being of your child and family.

We focus on working with you to address any issues at an early stage, and build on your family’s strengths. The earlier we can work with you, the better the outcomes for your child and family. So whatever you need help with please come and talk to us.

Social Workers in Schools have three main roles:

    1. One to one work with children and their families/whanau
    2. Provide group programmes which help children and families to succeed
